What’s that in wolf years, Liam?

Surely if we are highlighting people who we think are great then we are less likely to get a village core as the Wolves will have our group leaders handed to them?

And we replace them with similar. At least we have a tangible trust group to work with in the early stages.

Wolves will be scrambling to get into that, up their post count and seem villagery because if there's a trust group, it leaves them less space to hide and cast shade on.

Look I know it sounds strange, and scary, and new.

And once upon a time I would have balked at this suggestion myself.

But - the flipside to all of this I have come to realise, is that the wolves thrive when you have the loudest people accusing each other and they can hide amidst all the noise.

Wolves already know who the village is. Villagers do not.

Building a town core is the way to go, and the data from this might be every bit as valuable as the typical FFA in days to come.

Ok, I've pretty much said my piece on it now.

Exactly, enjoy the day0 laughs in carefree fashion, then on day 1 come back and dig up stuff if you want, don't introduce the paranoia on day0, as that'll remove fun and people are less likely to post as freely.

Ok, having listened to both agreements, I'm down with Steve idea. Look at it this way, FFAs on day1 are rarely successful, unless something obvious happens, so this plan could give us a different outlook. I'm not buying the negatives about it, I don't want to say why right now, but most will know.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,963 ✭✭✭Fiona WW

I don't 100% get it tbh, I do like the thinking outside the box but I'm not sure of the merits of the plan

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,893 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

If we do the Steve plan. IF. Then we ALSO do FFAs later, yeah?
