I have a raised bed (approx 10 foot long by 3 foot) that was full of random plants/shrubs and two dying conifers. I cleared it this weekend and am really looking forward to filling it.
I was hoping to get some help semi/professional help as to what will look great all year around as it’s right beside the front door.
Anyone know anyone that does a small job like this online!?

I've been thinking of doing something similar, but haven't committed to picking anyone yet.

I've found this person who is one of the few that's upfront about prices:

I'm planning to ring around for prices in my local area though as our soil is very rocky Connaught limestone, so will need more specialist advice.if you go ahead with the above would love feedback.

I've seen a number of people get planting design help on this forum on boards. It helps to post a picture of where you intend on planting and as much information about your preferences as possible as a design to meet what you want could vary quite a bit from what someone else might be looking for. Is there much shade over the area? Is the soil in the bed high in nutrient and well drained? Any additional information could help get the appropriate advice.

It's difficult to get one plant to look good all year round as many will only look at their best at certain times of year. A good design will have a variety of plants that fit your situation and will look good at different times of the year so when one is not at its best another is looking great to compensate. I've started to make video clips of my own garden with those starting to flower at particular months divided into separate playlists (eg. June flowers). Let me know if you think this is a good way of selecting plants by flowering season or if there are any specific questions about any of the plants as some are likely to be better than others in the situation you are planting.
