Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for nice hotel in Amsterdam, somewhere central, not looking for a noisey hotel full of stag/hen parties. Preferabley 4star with nice breakfast and within walking distance of most attraction. Anyone with any recommandations. Thanks.

Stayed in the Inntel Amsterdam Centre before. Few minutes stroll from Dam Square. Very central, 4*, quiet, good breakfast & very comfortable bed.

Stayed here myself last and would also recommend it.

If your budget will stretch you're unlikely to do much better than this location wise, pretty much across the road from the red light district, right across from central station, damrak just around the corner....and I certainly wouldn't imagine there'd be many stags or hens staying.

That’s a new hotel, so haven’t stayed there before. Holiday Inn Express can be OK, but are basic enough. Good location though.

When I'm there for work, I usually stay in the city centre at the Renaissance or the Marriott on a work rate. I've also stayed in places like the Crowne Plaza (now branded a Kimpton) and the Park Plaza mentioned above. All are very central and quiet at night.

Hotel prices can be quite high in Amsterdam, particularly if there happens to be a trade show in town that week. It can be hard to get rooms below €150-€200/night sometimes. Any idea what kind of budget you're looking at?

If you're willing to stay out of town, but on a tram line, then places like the Holiday Inn next to RAI are good options.

@dudara, was hoping to get 2nights for around 300euro, preferabley central but quiet enough at night, somethibg within walking distance of most places as only going to be there for two nights.
