Why is it everytime I'm logging in to the site. I have to unclick the stay logged in?

Shouldn't this be set default no. What purpose does it serve functional wise to the forum user?

I'd like it disabled as default.

Can someone answer these questions. Particularly the second.

    Hi SterlingArcher,

Thanks for your suggestion. On a technical front, once someone's PHP session expires, they'd be logged out. Ticking Remember Me allows you to stay logged in past the end of your session duration.

Then it's a matter of convenience, mainly for people who don't share devices with others who would access Boards.

This is one of those things where everyone can't be made happy, unfortunately.

    Hello mark,

So if I accidentally log in with this box checked. Then I log out. Does that end the keep me logged in associated software. Is it fully logged out and all software associated with boards.ie.

Once you log out, you're logged out and any cookie that identifies a logged in profile to the current session is cleared.
