Nothing to do with what's posted above but sometimes you'd have to wonder about humanity and what's the point of some people's motivation.

    Semi rant over. :(:(

If a farmer locked up with tb wants to buy a stock bull from you, this bull was tested in March, the bull has to be tested before he can buy it. Who should pay for the testing?

If it's just a condition that the bull has to be tested before he and only he can buy it.
    I'd say that buyer.
You could always throw that in for luck though.

If it's a dairy farmer purchasing, he can pay. If it's a beef farmer, you should probably pay as he wouldn't be able to afford it I'd say!

He wants him tested, he should pay, you have the hassle of getting it done

Add the price of the test to the price that your are selling the bull plus vat for hassle

When trailer licenses became necesary FBD said they'd cover drivers in jeeps and trailers while they getting the test.
A senior guy from FBD said last night that they are actually still covering drivers with no trailer license.

A fairly big "chop shop" is after been raided in Longford.
Seemingly it was a joint effort between Irish and British police agencies that led to this.
I wonder is this a result of our new Garda Commissioner?

There was one raided hereabouts back in 2016. Case came up in july this yr and the only paper that covered it was the Farmers Journal. Another court date back in September but more news outlets had it. Yer man is getting free legal aid. A good share of land has been sold and hes still getting custom from another respected business that he runs. I know a few lads who had tractors taken off them and 2 more who bought cars which were also taken back.
Some dose to hand over money for something and the state bodies to come calling after a few yrs saying what you bought is stolen or parts of it are stolen and they take it away. One lad had a tractor taken but got it back minus the engine.

We thought that too although I noticed that the daily spotlight ads for transit van parts for sale in Longford on DD have disappeared today.

I sent both lads a whatsapp message earlier today to remind them that the Toy Show was on tonight. I got messages from them in the last hour saying that they are watching it.
Eldest is watching it in Melbourne with 3 other Irish lads and youngest is watching it off the Cork coast on the Explorer.

It just shows the impact that the Toy Show has :)

If ye''re hearing some strange loud planes crossing the country right now.

Don't worry it's just 2 Antonov Ukrainian propeller planes overhead.

I was just thinking last night, if that's what large propeller planes sound like overhead, it must have been some dose in WW2 hearing large squadrons of bombers flying overhead.
The noise enough would send you loopy without even having a bomb dropped on your head.
Night time with the calm and quietness and then this sound starts rumbling the house would make it even more sinister.

I had a great aunt that lived in England during ww2, she said that the sound of the doodlebugs(v1) was horrible but kind of comforting because it only fell when the engine stopped.
