Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In that case, make sure you disable mobile data well before you arrive at the border (unless you really need it). If you do need your data on that part of your trip, make sure you have as many apps as possible set to "restrict background data" as between them all, they can be transferring quite an amount of info (especially anything with location based services).

I've just checked my text from Three, and it's "max €7.12/MB" - so my relatively light Google Maps download would have cost me about €56  if I'd used my Three data.

Having used google maps to assist driving around Madrid recently, it was a big help to have the maps available offline as relying on data to be fast and dependable was often a frustrating experience.

Why is Switzerland high charge territory?
    It's not in the EU.

But depending on your provider it could still fall under the same rules as EU countries, such as Vodafone who I am with. They include Switzerland and a few other European, but non-EU, countries as well in their 'no extra charge' area for roaming.
