    Hi all,

    Just about to close on new build, and yet to sort alarm.

    Have looked into various offers, there's a lot of very impressive systems that have a monthly charge.

    Can anyone recommend a service that has just a one-off payment starting off to install an alarm, one that is effective but will not break the bank?

    Most good installers will offer & install you a stand alone system without monitoring or with self monitoring without tying you to ongoing monthly or annual payments.
    As I always say shop around.
