scam aimed at beekeepers

and confirm if you can make use of them. They are all clean and new.
Its been listed for sale from an anonymous seller late fathers

In case you aren't 100% sure this is a scam (I wasn't), see their response to a few questions I asked (which btw weren't answered):

The Equipment was listed for sale by the owner it was part of his
father business which could not be established due to illness so he
wanted them sold to complete the medical treatment and cost.
I have confirmed all the equipment to be new,clean and never been put to use.
I am not a beekeeper or have any knowledge in beekeeping, I just want
to use this to help any interested beekeeper from my family sponsored
charity program and because of the list and the cost involved. I have
made a part payment to hold the sales while I was around but now am
currently on my medical trip to the Usa so you will have to complete
the payment to the seller in which I will open a communication channel
between both of you as soon as he receive the money so that you can
discuss and finalise on delivery.
I will send the balance cheque payment of €4,650 euro to you which
you will deposit into your account then I will let you know how to pay
the seller and discuss with him on delivery.
Please let me have your full name to write on the cheque and your
mailing address including phone no to send it you immediately. Thanks

I assume most people are familiar with this scam, but in case you aren't, basically you pay money up front and never get anything, or else they send you a fake bank draft on a non-Irish bank, which you lodge and then for time-critical reasons you have to pay for the equipment before the draft clears. Then the bank comes back to you and says the draft was rejected by the foreign bank as a forgery and you've lost your money.

Its the equivalent of winning a huge lottery that you didn't buy a ticket for. Unless you have applied, entered a draw for or directly engaged in a sale, then I wouldn't touch it.
If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.
