No engine and "Chassis rotten.". What is it you are actually buying? apart from a pile of rust of course.
"Uk book available and chassis plate"

He clearly says the engine is 'available'. He might even point you to the right ditch to give you a head start in looking for it. ;)

what good is a chassis plate on its own? Unless you plan to do something that you shouldn't.

And of course we all know that things like that never happen.

Of course nothing salacious would be done with it.
Whats the noise a phone makes when an incoming call is present?
Or what do you give your wife when you get married?

There are two in my estate.

Nice cars alright but you're only buying the badge. The tech in them is about 10 years out of date apparently.

Eye watering depreciation was suffered on that.

Oh, I dont know, 600Nm of torque is tempting.

But then you miss out on the Ferrari designed petrol, which is probably the most compelling reason to own one.

I thought it would be an interesting alternative to the usual executive cars. I’ve seen a few in the metal and they’re a pretty car although the quad exhaust is a bit much on the diesel.
It’s lost load of money from new and is a fair bit cheaper than dealer prices.

    A diesel Maserati.

    Kill it, kill it now.

That's savage cabbage but it's different though in fairness!

Lovely Jag XJ6 for €4K, NCT Jan 19.
Great condition for 21 year old car, that dealer has a lovely stock of classics.

In case anyone is looking for a cheap ish, low tax, Petrol 3 Series, this was my Father in Law's car until it was traded against a new Arona last week.

I supplied this car brand new in 2008 to a lease customer, who left within a year. Car was loaned out temporarily a couple of time to people waiting on new cars, then sold to my father in law in late 2009, so I know this is genuine mileage - known the car and how it was looked after for it's full life.

It's a pre-facelift 2008 run out model, so is the SE Edition which gave upgraded Alloys (possibly M-Sport) along with M-Sport gearknob and Steering Wheel. Has the optional USB connection and I'm pretty sure it has the built in Bluetooth that was a rare option at the time due to the cost.

It's had the usual Petrol ED model BMW issues of coils etc, but always looked after by a BMW specialist in Swords (can't remember the name of the garage) who used to work with the FIL as an aircraft mechanic before going to cars.

It really is a top quality car - not sure how it ended up in a private sale, but if anyone is looking for this sort of thing, I doubt there's anything else as good on the market, and I really hope it goes to someone who'll look after it as well as it has been.

A quick google of the mobile number shows that it is being sold by somebody who sells a good few cars.

I really like the look of it and might know somebody who is interested

Suspect he may work in a dealership and flip half decent cars on the side.

Have you bought from him? Any idea what part of North Dublin he is on?

A bit odd it only has a years nct on it. As a 2008 should it not have nearly 2 years of nct?

Was a July 2008 reg so just over 10 years rather than just under. Not NCT'd before due date as it wasn't being used, and was being traded. Pics show it passed NCT yesterday.
