Wonder if it’s 100000 km or miles

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

The dash is in miles. I'd say if it was 100k kms the seller would make you well aware.

They are a good yoke, generally. The hybrid situation is fairly dependable, have infrequently seen hybrid inverter failure once or twice (which is reassuringly expensive) but not enough to say don't but one. Otherwise, most of it's flaws are the same as any other Mk7.

So, how much is the car, €17,900, €16,900 or €14,900?

Looks like mi from the pic. Considering the price it has to be anyway.

Thank you all, I also assumed its miles but need to confirm this. Its 14900 cash for now, havent yet had a chance to speak to the dealer, hoping to so that this week. Have always had a corolla so wary of a different car! Thanks again.

From pic looks to be 100 or 106k miles definitely UK import.

You can see the 100000 clearly

Those specs & the white golf on some pics uk plated = uk import nearly 4 sure

    Don't like that mileage imo

    Rgds

I’m on my second GTE, love them. I wouldn’t go back to a TDI. If your willing to charge every couple of days I’d definitely recommend one. One of my mates has one and had the hybrid system replaced under warranty. I never had any issues with either of mine

As it's a PHEV, the miles on the engine are probably 70 or 80% of the miles on the odometer.

There was a red Lancer GTI saloon on DoneDeal about a year or so ago too, original Irish as well.

Nice car and all but it was before MIVEC so not as powerful as the 4G92 MIVEC engines a few years later were.

Super retro looking though, even if it may not be that quick. Would be a nice buy i think.

If my circumstances were different, I would totally daily drive this thing. It's never gonna lose money and is probably pretty reliable.

This is saying 1.8l engine. And all the web pages I've looked at say the GTI is a 1.8.
Why is the one on donedeal 1.6?

1 Irish owner from when it was imported in, perhaps it was an Embassy car with exemption, can't see anyone importing it even with VRT exemption as there would be zero market for it unless you went the commerical change route.

Ruairí seems to of forgotten to mention that it's actually more than 680 to bring car in to Ireland. I half feel sorry for the person that buys it and learns afterwards that it's 2400 a year to tax.

Well in all fairness if your going to part with that sort of cash and haven't done your homework on the costs involved.... I wouldn't have much sympathy for you.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,060 ✭✭✭Sexual Chocolate

And there will be people that won't have done their homework.

How do you mean it is €2400 a year to tax.

    It is €710 surely?

Since Friday it's would be now 2400 to tax that Civic with new real world emissions figures. Import older than 08 will be now taxed on emissions.
