How long does a bank draft take to clear

Hi I lodged a bank draft into my account last Wednesday morning it’s now Tuesday of the following week, should it be cleared by now and if it is how will I know?

We have a detailed sticky on cheques and drafts here. As drafts take five business days to clear, your draft will be cleared at close of business later this evening.
