Removing date stamp

    Can someone advise me if I can get rid of the date stamp from my pics before I upload them from my camera to a computer?? Would be preferable than having to edit & airbrush each one individually.
    Only a basic Canon Ixus camera

    There’s surely a setting on the camera to switch the date stamp off?

    Yes, I can turn it off, its just for the few pics taken that have it on already - I thought there might be a magic button that would make it disappear but I guess not :-(
