Getting rid of dometic rubble/concrete in Dublin

Hi, I have a small pile of rubble that I would like to dispose of. Consisting of patio slabs, some concrete blocks and garden post bases. A1 have quoted me €310 for a standard skip, is their a better or cheaper method? Thanks.

Recycling centres are handy.
Did you ask A1 about their skip bags? They are a good bit cheaper, but it all depends on the amount of stuff you've to get rid of.

Thanks that's a great idea. I'll check how much do they charge, I might need to hire a van too.

I'm not clear where you are located - FWIW there are other locations around Dublin see https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057148910

You may find that vans ( commercial vehicles ) are not allowed at some of the locations - check before hiring

Did you try free trade ireland / adverts? I got rid of a load of concrete paving slabs and about 3 cubic meters of sand on it.
Somebody always wants stuff like this......depends on what exactly it is I suppose.
Save you the money. Mine was gone in a few days. I was delighted!

You don't have to get a standard skip. They do mini ones for around 120 if you've only a small bit of stuff. They hold a fair bit.

You can hire lads with a rigid and a bucket, costs about €150. They do a great job. They’ll take concrete, gardening waste, slabs etc.

Make sure they have the necessary accreditation for transporting waste. They could be cowboys who dump it in the ditches on country roads.
