L5/S1 discectomy recovery

    Hi –
    looking for some advise please from anyone who had an L5/S1 discectomy and the recovery road back to cycling. Had this done along with some nerve repair work as disc was broken and stuck into the nerve- so understand I have a recovery road back etc- would be interested if anyone has similar and your road to recovery and back on bike and cycling away.

    Three weeks Monday post surgery and walking daily along with walking in swimming pool since Thursday last and started some physio yesterday , - but some many different messages from you will be okay to cycle to you wont be etc- so would really appreciate if anyone had similar. thanks

    We cant offer medical advice. Listen to physio / gp etc. Going to have to lock this in the meantime while checked with mods
