Yea exactly, I'm not really sure what clues people were looking for anyway. Every attacking player will be benched again soon so just go with it and have good back up subs. I'll be going with Sterling and Sane and have Jiminez as backup most weeks.

also, the great thing about Pep is that if he rests Sterling or Aguero (for instance), they're not likely to come on at all unless they're desperately needed.

Eriksen looked good when he came on from the bits I've seen. He floated a lovely ball for Vertonghen - who missed a sitter - and later got the winning goal. Alli's assist was a beautiful lay-off as well and he seems to be in form.

I'll be definitely getting a Spurs attacker in over the coming weeks but need to decide how many. Kane seems the safe bet but a costly one.

Doesn’t matter. Different competition.

You can’t ignore the trend that Salah has been going at in the league.

it's the problem that's existed in FPL as long as I've been playing, and obviously an awful lot longer.

the reality is that Salah hasn't done an awful lot wrong. he's been consistent. yes, he hasn't hit the giant scores yet, but it is a steady stream of 8s. also, yes, he doesn't get bonus, but he does get a clean sheet point (which Liverpool have got plenty of).

i wouldn't get rid for Hazard.
i wouldn't get rid for Mane.
i wouldn't get rid for any City mid bar maybe Sterling.

i've had him all season, have obviously been doing well, and haven't missed that 2m or so that I could spend elsewhere by downgrading. there's not a whole heap of options for upgrading, other than maybe getting Robertson in for one of my cheap defenders.

i just don't see much reason yet to swap. Kane is an issue, but Salah out doesn't really help. i can do a straight Kun - Kane without doing that. or just get Son/Alli for Silva. but with Arnie and Jimenez as my other strikers, i can't do anything there in terms of getting Kane.

maybe i'm being really stupid, and not seeing the potential benefits of getting rid of Salah, but i just can't get on board yet.

I got rid of Salah at the weekend and I'm a little nervous now. It was definitely a reaction to Sterlings whopper score combined with one of his worst performances of the season.

If I could press a big reset button right now I would.

In saying that, my plan from day one was to go with Mane instead of Salah but I didn't have the balls. Maybe it needed an irrational moment to push me into the move.
