This Croke park stage looking like a farce crowds wise. 4 teams and it's 2/3 filled. Tomorrow will be empty unless half of kildare decide to rock up.

    Theres 50 plus thousand there.

Donegal largely only have themselves to blame for this - some dreadful kickouts and baffling shot selections have buried their chances just as much as the Dublin scores have.

Still think Dublin will win this by 6/7
They have created a couple of half chances close to goal already

I’ve a horrible feeling someone else could nick an All Ireland this year though and send the Dubs back out in 2019 mad hungry for another

I may need to revise the winning margin upwards ‘

    Game over.

    Donegal fell asleep.

Thankfully someone has muted Dessie Dolan.

Post of the day. Take a bow son.

    Donegal cleaned out in midfield.

It was never going to. Not 6 points down due to the ref

Gavin must of passive aggressively pulled the hoop off the Dublin team at HT.

Some very good long distance point takers in that Donegal team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

If you are going to pick up the ball without using your foot but a player kicks it away is it a free ? I didn’t think it was Another possible dubious decision by ref and donegal went down and got a point...

Goal for Donegal would make it fun now

Fair play to Donegal, tipping away at the scoreboard and no heads down after the second goal. Defending very well at the moment too.

From their POV it’s important that they keeping going and don’t ship a hammering especially with Tyrone having got a big win
Also in theory they could have to beat the Dubs again to win the AI.......

"Somehow, at this stage, you expect every Donegal attack to produce something" says Ger Canning, while a Donegal player gets turned over instantaneously.

F...ing crazy Micheal Murphy taking a short kick out from the goalkeeper.

Dessie thinks it’s over the line. With no evidence whatsoever

Micheal Murphy should be in edge of box, end of....he doing nothing out the field bar wee hand passes....n bad at that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

I didn’t think that looked over the line. Wouldn’t mind seeing a Hawkeye view, can we not request var? ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,286 ✭✭✭seligehgit

    What a ball by McManamon.

Patton has done very well outside of the short kickouts.

Cracking game even if it appears to heading towards an inevitable conclusion.

Keeper was almost stood in the Hill with the ball in his hands...not the most of ridiculous assumptions.

O Callaghan again takes a lot out of that . That’s three times he’s made some bad calls in a dangerous scoring position

There is no Hawkeye for goals.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Man of the Match for me Brian Howard.

    Stellar display.

Nah it's only points. Didn't look fully over the line anyway

Dublin could of had 2 or 3 more goals in this

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,286 ✭✭✭seligehgit

How many goal chances have Dublin spurned?

Give me a proper 1/4 final any day.

    There's nothing at stake here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,248 ✭✭✭TheRiverman

Dublin have one long time problem, their failure to finish many of their goal chances.

The amount of missed goals must equal the number of missed points at this stage.

Gavin will have them back out in front of the posts til theyre dizzy during the week.

Officials have it hard enough without contradictory statements without any evidence at all.

We've been doing this for a while now, perhaps Jim doesn't like goals unless they're a collective effort :D

Jesus the standard of finishing for goals on both sides has been pretty poor.

Croke park will be mostly empty for the Dublin home game judging by the crowd left there now. Most Ross and Tyrone fans gone by now and it looks half empty.

The Dublin infallible formula: get a couple of early goals and make sure you don't concede any...
