Lots of players in my team that could be removed based on the friendlies over the weekend. As things stand they all should start but that will more than likely change this weekend. The only definites are salah, mane and sanchez.
Players ill be looking out for this weekend pedro, mata, ashley barnes, bernado silva and david silva.

Not too far off that Busts but doubt I'll go BB with the drivel on my bench.

Contemplated going Salahless due to my Mane love but just decided to get both. Sanchez in there from/for the start too.

No City attacking cover bar Mendy is a worry but so would be selecting City attacking cover. I'll wait until the early WC.

Edit: looks like I'll be changing Cedric so.

Cedric is causing me a problem as well
I really do not like any of the other 4.5 options bar Tomkins and palace defence is already covered !
I could bump Cedric up to Bertrand (but I think I read somewhere he had been playing LCB ? ) But I would still probably need to find another 4.5 ml defender
Could also bring in McCarthy as my second keeper and use Kabaselese as my 4.5 defender but again that doesn't excite me much !
Jageilka may be an option if they don't sign someone as I'm probably not going with Coleman now but he isn't a very exciting option!

Chelsea playing 442 means Moses won't start
Palace signed max Meyer so schlupps days are numbered
Midfield is very risky imo
And the strikers ..........
Downgrade Moses for certain and get a second starting striker
Personally I would not go with lukaku but that's up to you

Thanks but I am never owning a Bournemouth defender again !

If I get news that Cedric is back for gw2 I'll keep him as I don't need him gw1 anyway
But if there is a doubt then there could also be a price drop in store.......

You could run into big trouble with that defence
All or none of that back 3 could start any given week and then who comes in ?
Double arsenal attack taking up nearly 1\5th of budget ? Either or for me
Get rid of sturridge
I also think you could raise cash by downgrading Moratta

Either way you have to change defence wherever you get the money from

Watch out for team sheets today but I reckon you could save .5 by doing Cedric to bedarnek if he starts today.

I’m loving mine at the minute.

Nailed it last night after weeks of tinkering. Have left myself with 0.5m too so I can upgrade my 4.5m striker to whomever is the best 5.0m option. They’ll be unlikely to be needed but as a ‘just in case’ measure.

I’ve got weeks and weeks of screenshots on my phone of all the tinkering so I can flick through and see if any team jumps out or when I make a decision (like to go with a cheap 3rd striker) I can delete as appropriate too.

But yeah. Really really happy with my team currently.

Azpi > Mendy : Saves an extra 0.5m although now I have a double City defence. Hopefully Mendy will offer a lot in attacking points.


Cedric > Luiz
Hoping that this offers me a "set and forget" three man defence. City X 2, Liverpool, and Chelsea. Ideally, I'd scrape a million elsewhere to get DDG but overall I'm happy with that defence, just as long as Luiz does actually play.

Sane > Mane :
Offers me replacement Liverpool attacking cover after taking Firmino out.


Mkhi > Cairney :
Money saving move so I can upgrade other areas of the team. Already have Auba in so at least I do have some Arsenal attacking threat. Was a toss up between Cairney and Ralls. If I had an extra 0.5m I'd upgrade Stephens to Ralls.



Firmino > Aguero :
Reversal of a previous decision that I was unsure about. Happier with having Aguero rather than Sane as a City attacker. Will ideally be replace with Kane, eventually




One thing I'm not happy with is Stephens being a starter in the team. Play Wan-Bissaka instead??

They prob won't keep many clean sheets

I’d be better off gambling on who might be the best 5.0m striker to save a future transfer.

Sorloth could be the safest initially but I don’t really want him near my team and the possible arrival of Ings makes him less appealing if that’s even possible.

Any Boardsies with knowledge of Bonatini ? Is he a likely starter ?

I think Zohore will be a starter for Cardiff, he started the last 2 friendlies at cf. Only has Madine as competition whereas Jimenez is likely to start ahead of Bonatini. Plus Jota can play up front too.

Edit: Just realised Bobby Reid hasn't been added to Cardiff squad yet so not sure how that will affect the line up

The cons can be fixed with an early WC, or a transfer or two.

One thing I'm going to try do this season is to not change/transfer too often and trust my team for a 3 game window regardless of fixtures. I think with an attacking defence this is the best way to go.

Have switched Arnie to Zaha. Currently debating Bennett and Sanchez out for Bailly and Eriksen which gives me a nice spread and looks great on paper...but I love owning Sanchez and his ability to explode.

What do you's think?

Yeah, might do that alright. Was waiting to see if Pickford might be rested or sold, but I doubt either will happen to be honest.

BB GW1. Opting for Costa over Jota in wolves as somebody said Costa is on corners and free kicks? Nice 5.0M option.

Since you're playing 3-5-2, downgrade Arnie to 4.5/5m and upgrade Yoshida, Southampton are letting in goals for fun.
Upgrade Kante too.

Current line up looks like this....

Foster/Fab
TAA/Bailly/Mendy (Wan Bissaka, Peltier)
Dilva/Salah/Mkhi/Pedro/Richarlison
Aguero/Firmino (Quaner)

Despite saying I would go with Sane to start the season, going with Dilva allows me to include Mkhi and Pedro to have Arsenal and Chelsea coverage. I downgraded Zaha to Quaner too.

I am going without Man U attackers. I think Jose is close to meltdown territory. I have Bailly at the moment and am considering switching to Luiz, but I'm not sure Chelsea are going to be that great defensively this year. As bad as I expect Man U to be, I think they will still be decent value for clean sheets.

My other concern is if TAA starts. He is good value for the Liverpool defence, but might be a bit risky.
