    Any thoughts on my team....

Looking to start the season off with money ( 9 mill ) in the bank, so I can make early changes if necessary....

Am I going too weak overall

What are you planning on doing with the 9 million? You'll have to take hits to spend it anyway so can't see the logic tbh.

I'd say strengthen your team and keep a couple of million for contingencies if needed

KDB probably won't start the season. I'd go for Wan-Bissaka instead of Kelly. Sessegnon is new to the league and may take a while to get used to the Premier League so I'd look to upgrade him.

EDIT: Ralls instead of Neves also.

More than likely settling on this:

    Ederson (Steklenburg)
    Bailly Robbo Boly (Wan-B, Peltier)
    Mata Jota Salah Mané Mahrez
    Aguero Mitro (Kamara)

Mata gw1 punt likely make way for Richarlison gw2. Now please Community Shield, don't mess up my plans tomorrow :pac:

Ye i'd like the look of it, few minor changes could be big improvement
Luiz and Mawson (give him a few weeks) to say Mendy and Tomkins or shaw and Van An be better options I think
    Mitrovic a risk worth taking

    Allison
    PVA Stones Tripper
    Salah Jorgino Sanchez Richarlson
    Arnie Firmino Zaha

    Fabianski Bennett Lascelles Masuaku

Surprised more have not considered Jorgino, at 5M he will be integral to what Chelsea are aiming to achieve this year.
    Opinions appreciated

Jorginho will be integral in the DM position.

    Useless for FF.

Really? Thought he would be a little more advanced...

Not many with Keita in their team. Can see him pitching in with a good number of goals this season.

A lot of us going for Robertson and Salah, which only leaves one Liverpool spot. With doubts over so many ‘big hitters’ starting the season, Mane or Firmino are great options.

Not saying Keita isn’t a viable option, but there are definitively better Liverpool options to start the season.

6 goals in 160 games for Napoli suggests he won't be getting too involved in the attacking play for Chelsea.

Any opinions on pogba? Don't see any teams with him. He done well at the start of last season. Will sanchez take his limelight?

Hasn't played yet in pre season that's why no picking him.

    Still on holidays
Could be a good option in a few weeks but remains to be seen

Big disciplinary risk in my view.

Gets too many yellows and reds.

I thought he might be a little more advanced as the main playmaker with Kante covering the DM position. I think he could score well, even Kante got 100 points last season.

Kante will be further forward. Jorginho will be sitting in front of the back four.

2nd team, getting closer, and still looking for fun players after last seasons debacle.
Fab and Foster: rotate well early season.
    Coleman: fixtures and fun
    PVA: fixtures and fun
TAA: Cheap way into Liverpool defence.
David Luiz: Cheap way into the Chelsea defence.
There’s only Wan Bissaka: 4m fodder.
    Cairney: Solid Fulham lad.
Salah: I suppose, cos everyone else will have him.
Mahrez : could be FFS gold this year.
    Siggy: good fixtures.
    Hudson Bay Hotel:4.5m cheapie
    Aguero: FPL legend.
    Firmino: good fixtures.
    Arnie:Fun.
Might replace Luiz with a 4.5 and upgrade TAA to Robertson or Hudson Bay Hotel with Gerry D if he is fit.

Have switched Arnie to Zaha. Currently debating Bennett and Sanchez out for Bailly and Eriksen which gives me a nice spread and looks great on paper...but I love owning Sanchez and his ability to explode.

    What do you's think?

    Begovic Stekelenburg
    Mendy Coleman Cédric Bailly Wan-Bissaka
    Salah Sane Eriksen Mane Richarlison
    Zaha King Kamara

Damn. Aguero being Aguero and possibly making me change my team...going from a 3-5-2 to a 3-4-3.

    Begovic Boruc
    Mendy Coleman Cédric Bailly Wan-Bissaka
    Salah Eriksen Mane Richarlison Hudson/4.5m
    Zaha King Aguero

Looking good, but would steer clear of United for now.

i hear you. i've always started with a united back going back years though and they're usually my most consistent points scorer.

I know they have injuries but there other doubts about them?

I agree that I would not be piling them in offensively, but nothing wrong with a United player anywhere along the back line imo.

Edit: Would not be 100% on Kamara starting every game

To go with Salah or not

    Without
    Pickford Boruc
Tarkowski, Robertson, PVA, Kiko Femenia, Malone
    Mane, KDB, Eriksen, Millijevic, Albrighton
    Firming, Aguero, Kamara

And with Salah is basically the same team except KDB, and Mane are swapped for Salah and Walcott.
Any suggestions, I'm happy with the rest but it's hard to leave Salah out

Yes I would say he will miss gw1 but after that he would have been a season keeper

I've yet to see anyone so far use their money in such a way that makes leaving Salah out as a viable option. When Kane, Aubameyang, De Bruyne, Sterling and more are all looking like great options this could absolutely change, but to start with he is looking as close to a template addition as I've ever seen in the game.
