Thread banned from “They’re Alive”

Hi there,

I was thread banned from the “They’re Alive” thread in AH, seemingly for having a different opinion to some other posters. Moderator Putinbot banned me for “low level trolling and generally being a bit of a dick.”

I was of the opinion that the adult coach that brought the kids into the cave, during rainy season, should be punished. I don’t think that this opinion is in any way trolling. He has put the children’s lives at risk, along with the lives of everyone trying to save them, one of whom has already tragically lost his life.

Within the thread I’ve had personal abuse levelled at me, questioning my intelligence, along with backseat modding from other non-mod posters. Both of which I reported, neither of which were dealt with. I did PM Putinbot a few days ago, to which I received no reply.

I enjoy posting on Boards, and rarely receive infractions. When I do I generally take them on the chin and realise that I have said something I shouldn’t have in the heat of the moment, but in this case I really don’t think I have done anything wrong, other than not agreeing with the popular opinion in that thread that the coach is “a hero”.

Thread bans do not fall into the scope of the Dispute Resolution forum, so I will move this to the Help Desk.

If you're not getting any resolution from the mod in question, the next step really is to contact the CMods to argue your case.
