Kittle must be feeling some pressure here. He's not looked good at all this year, and last race I saw him in Katusha had sent him on a hiding to nothing in a 2 man break who had no business being in a break.

Half the race is looking at the scenery...can't help but notice all the ragwort along the route so far.

I typed ragwort into google to see what it was and it came up as "stinking willie"

No Nicolas Roche this year! First year in the last ten that he has not been there?

Sky didnt pick him for the Tour team in 2016 if you recall...

No sign of Cavendish, but a fantastic ride by Sagan to keep on terms.

Looked like Cavendish was complaining that Groenewegen cut him up. Just looked not fast enough to me. Was hoping Greipel would do it.

Stinking Willie, allegedly named by the Irish after William of Orange in the aftermath of The Battle of the Boyne.
The English named a flower after him, Sweet William.

In terms of the GC, the big loser today was Zakarin. He lost 59 seconds.

I didn't remember that. Twice in the last ten years so that he has been absent. Got to be a sore spot for him.
