    Hi Guys,

I`m looking to make the 4k and atmos leap soon. I was wondering if you have a marantz SR7012 in stock? It`s not on your sites, however, I know you do sell some Marantz products. It is an upgrade to the SR6008 I bought off you in 2014.

I`m looking for the marantz as I like the aesthetics of the machine, I need a minimum of 7.1.2 (I can add a stereo amp for 7.2.4 at a later date) and I know it will match with my current 7.1 Monitor audio bronze speakers.

    Regards,

    Hi Superleedsdub.

As far as I know the SR7012 has now been discontinued as no more stock is available from Marantz and we have even sold off our display one in the Boards Clearance sale at the start of last month.

How about the Denon AVRX4400 I have one open box unit left which we have priced at £800. its in 100% condition and boxed as new.

Yamaha also have the RXA2070 which is retailing at £1069.00. We have one BRAND new one of these left in stock which I could ship.

Cheers Kenny, I was also looking at the Denon, seems to fit the bill for what I need.
I`ve just asked a question about the 65B7 OLED  in another post. I`ll be deciding what to get in a couple of weeks time, so will give you a shout then when I`ve decided what to order. Decisions, decisions...

    Super,

we DO have some Marantz SR6012 AVR's available if you were interested in one of those - not much difference between the 6012 and the 7012 ( primary difference is power..)

We can do the SR6012 Brand new boxed at £699 for you or I have one open box display unit in A1 condition that we would clear at just £599??

    Keep us posted :)

    Hi guys,

Apologies for resurrecting this thread. I will be in a position next month to purchase a new amplifier and I`m looking at the Marantz SR6013. I`ve also been looking at the Denon AVR-X4500H. I will also be looking to purchase a pair of monitor audio BXFX rear speakers to add to my current monitor audio bronze 5.1 package (purchased from you guys as far back as 2010), this would be the surround left and surround right speakers, I`m using the rear bronze speakers currently as my rear right and lefts, should I use a pair of book shelf bronze speakers instead for the surrounds?

In addition, I would like some recommendations for a pair of ceiling speakers to match the system.  So, in summary, could you please review the following:

    1. Marantz SR6013 vs Denon AVR-X4500?
    2. Pair of monitor audio BXFX or bronze bookshelf speakers
    3. Recommendation for rear ceiling speakers for Atmos

    Hi superleedsdub,

I personally would opt for the Denon over the Marantz. We had a 4500 on demo in store and it does sound incredible. I would also pair this with the Monitor Audio C165 in ceiling speakers especially if you're using the Bronze speakers.

    I could do:

    1 x Denon AVRX4500
    1 x Monitor Bronze FX
    2 x Monitor Audio C165
    Total: £1517 including shipping.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
