49 Inch UHD TV

I am in the market for a 49/50 inch UHD TV (mixed sources - mainly HD but occasional SD/DVDs and 4K Netflix) and have read some very positive reports about last year’s Samsung 49MU7000. I like the minimalist look of the set and the way you can hide at least some of the cabling as well.

Would this be the best all around 4K telly in your product range for less than €700? What would be the best price for that model? (The price on the site is pretty good but I thought I’d chance my arm!) Thanks.

at £549 / €649 there is honestly very little to touch the UE49MU7000 - it is a blow out offer and stock is limited - the euro price also includes delivery and of course our 6 year warranty.

You could also look at the LG 55SJ810, it's an SUHD TV - if you were looking for a really excellent quality TV, slightly larger than 49" - again at £649 / €699 the 55SJ810 is really a steal!

In terms of pricing I don't have any movement on the 49MU7000 but we could tweak the 55SJ810 to £629 for you ( but again it may work out less expensive at the €699 price)

Thanks very much for your advice John. Unfortunately a 55” screen is slightly too large for the intended location of the TV so I went ahead and ordered the Samsung! The order ref. is 113609 in case you need it.
