Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Grundfos MQ-35 35 pumps switches off when running hen in again

    Hi,

I am having an issue with my water pump where it switches off when running then back on again a few seconds later. This happens when a tap or shower is run or a toilet is flushed.

On monday I replaced the flow sensor and the pump was running fine, however it has started doing it again today

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening before I go out and buy a new pump? I am wondering is the circuit board on the blink as this was replaced six years ago along with the flow sensor.

Thank in advance for any help.

It sounds like its only running on the pressure switch and not detecting the flow switch.
Disconnect the wiring for the flow switch and see if it behaves in exactly the same way.
If it does, I would think the pcb is the problem.

Just disconnected the flow switch and you were spot on that it is doing the same.when disconnected.

This makes sense as the flow switch and pcb board were replaced the same time six years ago.

I will pick up a pcb board tomorrow.

That's ever so much for all your help and the advice on the to other posts this week as they have been invaluable. My wife is very impressed with how helpful people like you are
