Wine for wedding reception

How much wine would need at wedding reception. 220 guests but as at all weddings a percentage wouldn't be having wine.

The rule of thumb IIRC is half a bottle per quest. Depending on time of year, whites will be popular in summer, red more popular in winter.

If you talk to any of-license or wine merchant who sells wedding wine, they’ll give you a steer on how much.
