Broadband in Limerick Ballybricken/Grange Area.

    Is there anyone here in Limerick that is using Celtic Broadband? I am literally 4 houses away from fibre broadband but there doesn't seem to be any plans to connect me or my neighbours to the network so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I'll be living in the Ballybricken/Grange area.

    I'd be happy enough if I can get a provider with a steady enough service of between 5mb and 10mb. Really just for streaming tv and surfing the internet. Not pushed about anything heavy like online gaming.

    I used the local church to get the Eircode. Check this company out. Guy is a boards.ie user as well.

    Anyone have or had Celtic Broadband recently in Co. Limerick, can you recommend them, what kinda download/upload speeds you getting? Does it degrade much in the evenings?

    Not sure if you are in my area but Celtic broadband couldn't supply a service. In fairness to them they came out, checked it and said that the signal was too weak for where their mast was and that I would only have problems with it dropping out all the time. They were honest anyway and I ended up going with NuWave Broadband in Bruff and touch wood no issues in 7 months.

    Sounds promising, I'm in Crecora. Hopefully can get a good connection there.
