Concerts in King John's Castle

Hi there. Just wondering what the setup is like there for concerts. Is there soft drinks available to buy as well as alcohol?
Can u bring in your own bottle of water?
Is food available to buy?
Can u sit anywhere before or during the concert?
Doors are at 7pm. What time do support bands start playing?
What time do main act usually start and finish?

Sorry for all questions. Appreciate if anyone can help me with answers. Nothing available online

Can u bring in your own bottle of water?
I am not sure you can as it could be any liquid in a water bottle. They may allow you to bring in water but without a cap. If that makes sense? At concerts these days you are unable to have a bottle cap as it helps to turn a bottle into a throwing object.

Is food available to buy?
I think they have sandwhichs inside the main building that are available. There may be hotdogs and burgers but not exactly a full course meal. Probably best to eat before hand.

Can u sit anywhere before or during the concert?
There is no seating but you can sit on the ground anywhere

Doors are at 7pm. What time do support bands start playing?
Gigs must be over by 10.30 (residential area). This means the main act could start around 8.30 or 9. The support probably at half 7. But that is all guess work. Sometimes if you google the actual gig they have stage times closer to the time.

What time do main act usually start and finish?

I’m going to the Gavin James gig tonight, I’m staying in Troy self catering village in Castletroy, anyone know what number bus from there I can get to the concert at st . James Castle?

It's King John's Castle (not St. James).

Go to the bus stop directly above Troy Self Catering on the map link below (on the Dublin Road - R445).
Looks like the 307 or 308 go straight to William Street (5-10 mins walk to the concert).
