    Hi,

The last couple bills I've received from Electric Ireland state that my account is in credit. Both feature a little tear off stub at the end with the credit amount (combined of around €100!) and some bank address for a "Bank Giro Credit Transfer".

I'm just wondering what can I do with this? Am I able to cash this in at my own bank or convert for credit?

    Cheers

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch.

We just need to advise that bills are not accurate reflections of a PAYG account balance, as they are not up-to-date (PAYG customers should not usually receive bills, however they do in some circumstances).

The most accurate balance for a PAYG account is on the meter itself.

    We regret any confusion.

If you have any other questions for us, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Una
