Rory joint leader now. Some unbelievable shots to get the brdie on the 14th.

AM watching it live here, they did ask the gallery about 10 times to move back just in case and they wouldn't. Even Wood's caddy was getting annoyed with them and said it was the last time they were asking them to move.
Think the ball did hit someone though.

Incredible round by Fleetwood in those conditions.

Zach Johnson and Tommy Fleetwood are showing the way. Johnson's game is lookng very lke how he played when he won in St. Andrews.

Paul Dunne chipped in for a birdie on the 1st. Very little air time, ran thirty yards and straight in the front door. :D

The commentators talking about Zach Johnsons glasses as if they're conventional sunglasses. But afaik they're specially designed for golf and adjust the colours you see to make you see fairways and greens more clearly, or something like that anyway.

Been a few occasions where Tiger Woods hasn't shouted "fore" after he sliced his drives off the tee.
    Seriously poor form

Well not to excuse that but I would be seriously p1ssed off if the crowd wouldn't move after repeatedly asking them.

Totally agree but it was his drive off the tee where he never shouted fore.

That shot he didn't have time to shout. For drives that are in the air and not shouting....very poor form

the big easy looks like he would rob your house!

Spieth on the first tee with the driver:

Ewen Murray: "Looks like a change of strategy because he's straight out with the driver"
Butch Harmon: "He might change back, he's straight into trouble"
    :D

Jon Rahm had 33 putts yesterday and was -2. That's ridiculous stuff. Birdied the first. If he gets the putter going he will be hard to beat.

Tiger is so talkative these days. :)

Which of the live leaderboards are quickest to update and most accurate ?

And also show total score AND round score. BBC website just showing total and not round score.

The Open official website seems to be relatively quick to update.

Doesn’t show the round score and total score though.

Other notables to bite the dust and head home early:

Sergio, Padraig, Bubba, DJ, Levy, FittzPatrick, Thomas, Matsuyama, Knox and Grace.

Still not clear if +2 or +3 is the cut lne, so the likes of Henrik and Fox are hoping I'd say. Shane Lowry and Tyrrell Hatton need to pull a birdie or two out of the bag if they want to stay around.

Does on the desktop - presume you mean mobile?

Are you looking at it in portrait? Try landscape!

Are you on a mobile device? Because it shows both on the desktop version.

Poor Padraig - he's trying so desperately hard to rediscover his form from what is now all of 10 years ago :(

    Yeah I’m on mobile.

    Landscape doesn’t change it.

You can click on a players name but it’s not a quick way to see the flow of the round or tournament.

The PGA website layout is good but seems very far off with the ‘live’ part of the scoring.

Ricky has birdied three of the first four holes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,375 ✭✭✭✭prawnsambo

Shane and Tyrrell have managed to pick up a brdie each and are now +3 with 4 to play.

Was he not in contention in the early stages of the final round in 2015 at St Andrews? Granted he faded as the round went on but that was just three years ago.
