Jungels, Pozzovivo, Mollema, Zakarin and Majka lost 51 seconds to Thomas, Froome, and Dan et al.

Valverde hung on for dear life over the last climb. Nibali remaining anonymous. Dumoulin looks strong but has no team to back him up.

You just get a feeling that Froome will bide his time. Has he won up Alpe D'Huez yet? He likes to target these monument climbs and the Alpe appears relatively early in this years Tour.

Don't know where the Colombiere fit into previous stages over the years, but Martin took the record on that climb in today's stage. Had it been anyone else you can bet there'd be questions as to how he beat cyclists from the EPO period, as has questioned in previous stage threads over the years.

As I said at the start, disclaimer that it could have appeared at a more favourable time in today's stage than previous tours.

Is there a website somewhere you can see the rankings in real time, rather than via video/TV?

Sky will have to leave the GC boys go try get back sometime on the yellow Jersey.

Sky DS (Portal?) was interviewed before today and said it is too early to take yellow. I'd say they will manage time and look to take jersey next weekend at earliest.

During the stage you can get real time data from the riders chip on the following website https://livetracking.letour.fr/#/stageprofile

MPFGLB was sort of right all of the information and data is provided by DimensionData. Now the site can be a bit buggy and rider data can disappear for a while because of bike changes or poor signals etc.

Cav, Kittel, Groenewegen, Zabel and a few others only made the time cut by 33 seconds seemingly
