On the Amazon warehouse sale they are selling items with a 20% discount, you can get a 3GB ram 32GB rom Motorola G6 play for 105, not bad for a budget phone.

LeEco basically screwed loads of suppliers by never paying their debts. Yeah the phones are cheap but QC is crap (I have one) and you're shafting innocent parties. Get a Xiaomi instead.

That is well known, they are trying to get cash back, it all went downhill when they went to America.

Anyway, that aside, there are two huge threads on 4pda that can say more than I will be able to for those two phones.
I am not telling anyone to buy them, but I did. One for a Christmas present, the other to have.

The Le Max 2 X821 is better than anything at that price.

On paper yes, but my 820(821 is an 820 in another market) is sitting in a drawer. Great spec on paper but yet I'm still using a much lower spec Robin.

Lots of the readers of these threads aren't regulars so its worth repeating.

    Have a look at 4pda.

The roms are interchangeable between the three versions.

Mi Max 2 Special Edition on amazon.es for €389 at the minute. Seems a good price especially considering the customer service from Amazon.

No, there are a lot of roms available for it.
AOSP and Lineage OS amongst others.

The Oppo RX17 Neo 128GB dropped down to €330 in Europe a few places today. It may drop again on Monday for anyone looking for a phone in that price range, worth looking at imo.

Well people. Looking for advice as ye seem to be the ones that know phones. It's for Xmas. 12yr old nearly 13 with lots of apps and games. Was looking at the mi 2 lite. 32/64??? There are others. What would ye suggest. As need to get ordering.

Just another thing. I'd like it to have Google play in it already. As it'll wreck my head if I have to try download stuff xmas morning

Now I see the Huawei p20 also. Which ye think is better

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,211 ✭✭✭✭Suckit

Both phones are fairly big, not sure how big 12/13 year old is, but either of those may be prone to dropping from smaller hands. 5.8inches.
The P20 Lite has a glass back.

The Mi A2 Lite is probably better value.

    ZTE Nubia X!

    ZTE nubia X specs

    Aliexpress starting from €519.64

How would you use a case with that device or get glass protectors for both displays, I guess?

    Anyone have one of these??

The Essential is on sale (again) and is with the 360° camera + earphones for $329 (€290) + Vat.

Although it was on sale in August for €210 and for $168 last week (according to twitter replies)
    https://twitter.com/essential/status/1067055622057852928

No doubt it will drop again, maybe in the Christmas sales.

I have just received my Mi A2 Lite 4gb 64b model from HK Goldway, ordered 8 days ago, and dispatched 7 days ago.
No extra fees, and I fully recommend them.

I just ordered a honor X8 from amazon uk. Will 4g work on it as I’m reading that it doesn’t have band 20, or is that just the Chinese version that doesn’t have it?

Just thinking I may need to cancel. Also any other suggestions in this price range? NFC is a must.

    Chinese version doesn't have it.

Got an 8X for someone at the end of the summer, and works perfectly.

    Same here ,
    Ordered a Xiaomi Mi A2 (128gb version).

Emailed them and they said it went out of stock , and is due back in stock on Dec 14th.

Their site still says in stock though.

It seems to be sold out pretty much everywhere (128gb version)
