Just to note, I got a Redmi 8 for the daughter. Arrived yesterday from Amazon UK, C 170 Euro delivered in 9 days. Went for Amazon as a safe bet, wasn't much more expensive than the likes of eglobal, wanted it reasonably quickly.
Played with it a little yesterday pretty impressed tbh. Good camera(s), screen is sharp enough, looks like a good battery, certainly good value on the face of it.

Nothing that a global depression won't sort out soon enough. Mi 10 global 5G was going to be my next upgrade but not at the current prices.

+1 to that. Was holding back from upgrading my redmi note 5 to the Mi 10 until the price became clear. Instead went with the Mi9t. Perfectly adequate for my needs, and it still has a headphone jack!!!

You may have got a more expensive variation of the Redmi 8 4gb 64GB but the basic model is in a sale from Xiaomi official UK site for £109 including postage to the UK until the 26th.

You'd have to use Parcel Motel or Addresspal to get it here.

Hi folks, my Nokia 7 plus is nearing the end , there's a lot of information to get my head around with these Chinese phones so i'm just going to straight out and ask for some recommendations for one of these phones that have around the same specs or better than the Nokia 7 plus phone. Not looking to spend a heap of money on one.
    Thanks in advance

Very strange, I created a new random email account bozo@bozo.com and it took it no problem.

Maybe try a different browser, or turn off script blocker.

Yeah good camera, NFC not a must. I use phone for watching sport, youtube etc so a decent screen, music although i use chrome-audio or headphones, running to track my progress. Looking for a good battery, use it for the odd game. Can't think of much else atm.
Just want it to be fast and responsive.

Oppo, Realme, OnePlus and Vivo are all made by the same company, and all considered to be good to great.

I had an Oppo for a very short time about a year and a half ago, but I couldn't get a global rom for it and I had the Chinese version. Apart from that the phone was great. That's not an issue anymore, as they sell more of their phones globally.

All 4 brands are good, the only one I haven't owned is Vivo, but would be a big brand - one of the main sponsors for the world cup in 2018, their adverts were everywhere.

    Thanks for the reply.
I tried many many times on the phone and no luck.
I went on the laptop and after a few issues with payment declining my order went through.

Note it only went through in chrome, any other browser and it would not work.
Last day of the sale is today.
To add I got a mi smart band 4 for a tenner as part of the offer.
    Thanks for the recommendation.

What are the large screen Chinese phone options, eg 6.7jnch and bigger. I had a Samsung Note years ago and miss the super large screen.

    Xiaomi Mi Max 3 - https://www.amazon.es/gp/offer-listing/B07GVRS5FV//ref=olp_f_new?f_new=true
Although I am pretty sure I have seen it a fair bit cheaper than that in a Euopean store, and that is not fulfilled by Amazon.

    These are new releases
    Oppo Find X2 - https://www.gsmarena.com/oppo_find_x2-10048.php
    Oppo Find X2 Pro - https://www.gsmarena.com/oppo_find_x2_pro-9529.php
    OnePlus 8 Pro - https://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_8_pro-9919.php

    Comparing them

    https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9919&idPhone2=9529&idPhone3=10048

I think the SG Note 10 Lite is a fair bit cheaper and easier to get

Hi lads, looking for a suggestion for an upgrande on a galaxy s8 in the region of 250 ish maybe up to 300.

Nothing in particular really needed. As like everyone I suppose a decent battery life would be high enough on the list. It wouldn't necessarily need nfc, havnt used it yet so doubt it would be used in future.

A lot of internet based browsing will be main function on the phone.

Few decent options Xiaomi and Realme posted in the past few days. Most will be sufficient. Links posted.
