he is yes eurosport split up their team.its normally clown Kirby and Kelly to start then they go to hatch and Brian Smith or vice versa.

I think he's doing as much as he usually does.

Eurosport, for GTs, now usually use one pair of commentators for the first half of a stage (eg. Rob Hatch & Brian Smith), and then sub in another pair for the second half (eg. Carlton Kirby & Sean Kelly). It doesn't always work like that, but that's the general pattern.

UAE, and previously Lampre-Merida, were always fairly rubbish in terms of supporting a rider going for the GC in a GT

This is probably a really stupid question - but the people along the roads - how do they get there? You do't see many cars around, are they locals or are there parking places and people have to walk?

They are cycling fans watching a cycle race....on some of the toughest climbs

Looked like a rider had gone over a barrier as there was a Factor minus rider, luckily it was just abandoned after a bike change.
