Thought Dan was done but nope there he goes taking Froome with him and Quintana starts calling for turns behind.

Froome working now too so should help them stay clear of the group behind.

Froome can't afford to lose too much to Thomas if he wants to remain co-leader maybe ..

Didnt realise this was only 100k - saw the profile and thought it was longer.
Thomas came second in this stage in the dauphine, with martin 3rd behind pedro bilbao who won it.

Froomey/G 1-2 today for the lolz/meltdown (myself included)

    Not far off

Poor Carlton nearly had a heart attack when Thomas passed Nieve!!!

Savage display of power by Sky, maximum reward for the efforts exerted.

Was my first stage of this Tour, said I would stay away after the Froome crap. Watching on Belgian TV where they are at least asking questions though

Geraint Thomas from track cyclist and classics guy to mountain slayer. Are you not entertained?!!

Fantastic effort by Dan. It looked like it could have been a minute or more lost to Bardet and co yet he turned it into a 30 second positive on them. Froome attacked Martin with about 1100 metres to go and took 7 seconds out of him. Impressive to keep it to that. What a shame he hasn't got a team though.
Top 5 definitely on if he can stay strong although I haven't checked out the TT. I'm guessing there's a 45km one near the end....... (Goes to check).

Zero questions being asked by Carlton Kirby. Froome and Thomas could rock up to the start line with syringes stuck in their legs and i'd imagine that would be ignored :pac:

If Dan hadn't of crashed last Saturday, he would be in 4th place overall

Lots of gc lads gone or nearly gone today.
    Fuglsang 4mins
Jungrls & Yates lost nearly 5mins

Yep but Froome and Dumoulin both lost time due to crashes and mechanicals. Possibly others too.
