    Hi Lads,
Looking at picking up a 2nd hand somewhat decent spec bike. Have narrowed it down to the two below, similar price.
    Which is the best option?

    KTM Strada 2000 2013 Spec:
    Alloy 3D Dropouts
    Carbon Fork
    Triple Butted Alloy
    Flex Blade Stays
    Tapered Headtube
    Internal Cable Routing
    Rim Brakes
    Wheel size: 700c
Groupset: double or triple Shimano 105

    Frame
    KTM Strada 2000 R:1303 Roadrace allot-frame triplebutted headtube 1.1/8" > 1.1/4"
    Fork
    KTM F-5 Carbon-Road-Fork Carbon Monocoque Design Alloy-Shaft 1.1/8-1.1/4""
    Headset
Ritchey Pro Logic Zero Drop-in RR
    Stem
    Ritchey OE -6°
    Bar
    Ritchey Comp Road
    Brakes-Rotor
    Shimano 105
    Shifters
    Shimano 105 5700
    Rear Derailleur
    Shimano 105 5700
    Front Derailleur
    Shimano 105 5700
    Crankset
    Shimano 105 5750 50-34t compact or Shimano 105 5703 50-39-30t triple
    Bottom Bracket
    Shimano BB51-Unit BSA
    Cassette
    Shimano 4600 12-28
    Wheels
    Shimano WH-RS11
    Rim
    Shimano Alloy Rim 24mm
    Saddle
    Selle Italia X1 Flow
    Seatpost
    Ritchey OE 300/27.2

    Specialized Allez
Not sure of full spec but think it is 2013 model
    Full Aluminium
    Shimano 2300 Groupset
    Shimano 2300 STI shifters

    Any advice appreciated.

whatever about the frame, 105 will be better than 2300; i think 2300 is approx. claris quality, and claris is two groupsets below 105 in the shimano range.
