D&D II Act One Scene V - The Valley

Fourier

As they cross the line, Iuric and Sarric see the Sun elongate into a bar that spans the horizon from East to West. The world grows slightly darker.

OOC: All who enter roll a d20

Fourier

The party feels a strange effect grow over them. Some gaining supreme confidence, the others becoming enamored of them.

OOC: Until the effect ends, you have absolute authority over anybody who rolled lower than you, they will defer to you in all decisions. And have a disadvantage in ignoring commands

Karinth runs back to the party, only four inches tall.

He looks Sarric in the eye.

"A fowl presence lies ahead"

Vrakrash kneels before Iuric.

'I feel a sudden urge to follow your commands, m'lord. You can count on my complete loyalty and obedience. Anything that would attempt to strike you down - Vrakrash will break in half before they reach you.'

He stands and draws his weapons, looking out for any dangers to Iuric.

The chicken seems to have died just before the chalk line. The cleric, now looking like shadows can be heard dimly from across the line.

OOC: For anybody confused about chickens, the whole "fowl" thing is a joke that goes back to Sarric's original meeting with Karinth.

Vrakrash sees a moon pop above the valley and set within the space of two seconds.

Necro

Vrakrash looks at his surroundings and begins to head further into the valley.

Fourier

Vrakrash heads a bit ahead, the valley still looks relatively normal itself. The path ahead splits East/West.

Necro

Vrakrash looks back briefly and shrugs, before heading West.

Iruic and Vrakrash enter the Western passage of the valley, before them stands a stone lying on the ground with a name etched on its surface. The name changes once every few seconds. The odd few can be recognised as historical names.

Beyond the stone, further down the path is an enlarged version of Sarric's head.

Vrakrash pokes at the stone with his scimitar.

"Is that Sarric ahead!?" Iuric asks Vrakrash.

Sarric says to varkrash, "my head is normal sized, i think, what you see ahead is weird, its my head, but i'm here, not there, i see you and the head, not what it sees.."
