    Hi All

I've just bought on of these with in built speakers but there doesnt seem to be a 3.5 mm socket output to connect headphones or external speakers as I find the monitor volume even at its max too low.

There is a 3.5 mm socket which says line in but connecting headphones or speakers has no effect. I've looked at the settings but no luck.

I've got a firestick connected to the monitor HDMI port so I only need to increase volume when I'm using that.

    Can anyone advise.

"Line in" is line IN not OUT

You should not expect better sound from 1Wx2 speakers, no matter what you plug in.

As per specs for Benq GW2270HM

Its a monitor, not a TV. The sound if needed externally should come from the computer or w/e device is feeding it.

Buy yourself a HDMI audio stripper.

I haven't got a TV but thanks I sorted this, I didnt realise the Firestick had a bluetooth connection so I simply hooked up a bluetooth speaker.
