    Excited about this game! I've read thousands of books but for my shame never actually read a Stephen King book

    Personal favourite is The Stand - although it's about 1000 pages minimally.
    Needful Things (or Needless if you ask Uriel :p) is a bit shorter but also a good read.
    And more recently, 11/22/63.

    But seriously, most of his works will be included in some shape or form tbh. Even Maximum Overdrive... and The Running Man :D

    And that's all the 'spoilers' you're getting from me!

    The Stand and 11/22/63 for me too. But The Stand is rather long, so if you want to be sure to have one under your belt before the game starts then I'd go with 11/22/63. Or if you fancy really short stuff then Different Seasons is four novellas in one book, also really great.

    Ok folks, it's getting close to game time (11 days :D) and we want to finalise a few things next week.

    As a result, sign ups will be closed Monday evening next. So anyone that wants to get signed up that already isn't - get your name down before then!

    After that we'll open a subs list in case of any dropouts, from then right up until Saturday evening.

    We hope to have the OP up at around 11am on Sunday 26th August, with roles to be sent out following that and a start time tentatively put forward for 12 noon.

    Also just to let you know we have had Pter in the backroom with us troubleshooting and looking at issues that we might not see with our baby, so thanks to him for agreeing to do that too. For future game mods, my opinion is this is a very helpful thing, and if possible no harm to utilise it with a player who may not be playing the specific game in question.
