    Hi All.
Anyone could share some experience about 2018-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4345421) Last Modified: 7/16/2018

Can't get head around this issue yet:

2 out of 7 machines failing to install this update properly - after install restart required to apply... on restart, goes "applying updates, do not power off"+%+circle(up to 99) , then "...X$£?><|!.., undoing changes"+circle, then PC' restarts and then more "...X$£?><|!..,undoing changes"+circle, then logon screen. After logon all good - soft activated and working OK - until you go for power options that is obviously "update and shutdown" or "update and restart" which goes in the loop.

All x7 brand new exact same model Lenovo machines with custom(stripped of some bloat-apps, customized, etc.) image of Win10 Pro v1803(vanilla came from MSDN). Same spec, just out of box. Same image was used on other installs before without problem prior this update. x2 HP laptops deployed along, with same image - no problem.
    Soft preinstalled within image:
    Chrome
    WinRAR
    Acrobat reader
    Office 2016 Pro
    ESET Endpoint Security

Monday will try to install update manually from Microsoft Update Catalog, until then scratching my head.
If this not fix - re-image

    Any input appreciated.

    Update

Nothing worked - update keep failing on very last stage and rolling back.

Ended re-imaging all PC's and laptops(just in case) with rebuild Win10 v1803 (Released: 7/10/2018)vanilla image + same strip-off + same customization + same software pack.
    After that update installed fine.

    Bloody W10

We had a similar problem last year, try stopping windows update services and manually installing the patch.

    Start> computer mgmt > services> windows update

    then select stop

After you stop it try installing the patch then.

Thanks for suggestion - to late, all done with new image.

Steam was because same customized image(v1803 released in March) deployed on circa 30 machines since - no complaints so far, but this time :mad::confused:

    Something glitched.
With W10 - expect unexpected. Almost every day some new sh1t

Didn't want risk same build so upgraded to very latest release.
