Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VRT no shipping receipt, advice wanted

    How are things,
    Bought a car up in Donegal cars on UK plates and the seller told me he had no shipping receipt and said to book a ferry ticket (Stenaline ETC) and cancel it so I get the refund but I’ll still have the ticket.
    Do you think this would work if not I might actually go on a holiday to England!!!

    Did you buy it from a dealer? Members of the irish public are not allowed to sell un-vrt'd (UK reg) cars.

    If not Call the dealer you bought from and insist.

    If it's remotely dodgy they will see through it.
