They're all the same. No matter who's holding the reigns, the bombs keep dropping, the money keeps flowing, and you don't get to enter the club unless you're going to play the game.

Asking questions, that's a good way to find yourself on a list.

Trump, in fairness, is the most powerful man in the free world. Not only is he making America great again, he's made huge strides to bring peace to the Korean Peninsula. Any chance he'd get a boost in the poll for that? Doing wonders for US-Russian relations too.

Vladimir with absolutely no doubt. The guy single-handedly made Russia Great Again. They don't have the military power of years gone by but they make up for that with unconventional guile to re-emerge as a Superpower.

He has also single-handedly been the catalyst of the return of the desire "Strong Man" leadership. For millennia people wanted strong leaders, then came a phase of Husband/Son in Law material with the likes of Clinton and Blair, leading to the likes of Obama, Macron and that Canadian weasel. Those days are done, tried and failed. All were charlatans. The public now desire the devil we know. People like Vladimir, Trump, Duarte and Erdogan. Not nice men, but strong leaders, who fight for their country. We're starting to see this trend in Central and Eastern Europe too.

Do people genuinely believe all that "strong man" crap? It's a confidence trick. Clearly a successful one. Putin is as much of a charlatan as Blair.

Western leaders are irresponsible, unwise and cowardly. They are socialists now. The electorate in western countries are like spoilt children and are as unprepared for the real world as spoilt children. Using perceived credit worthiness to borrow billions to fund the western way of living cannot continue. The cost of labour in the west is not based on reality.
