Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can someone with a saloon B6 Passat check the following please?

Get into the car, lock it using the fob. Now tell me if the rear doors will open if you pull the handles?

    Thanks.

Also, will the internal central locking button work?

Neither should work if you lock it using the key fob.

    Ya. That's what I'm thinking.

My Corsa would allow that. You would need to press the lock button again to really disable the internal handles.

In a VAG that might be a configuration thing.

I can confirm that neither work :/

Do you mean from the inside?

Are you worried about kids getting out?

I have an Audi A4 B6 if you like me to try?

    Just tried it.

No, the rear doors nor the front doors will open when pulled.
Also, will the internal central locking button work?

No, the internal central locking button located on the drivers door won't open the car neither.

Lock car once to activate deadlocks, can't open car from inside. Press lock button again to keep car locked but release deadlocks, so you can open car from inside.
