If she kept her mouth shut for thirty two years she should have kept it permanently shut.

She cant have been that traumatised by it if she didnt get into a counsellors room until 2012.

Seriously Ford, chalk it down to experience and get on with your fifties.

Thats if anything actually happened and it wasnt just the counselling that brought the "crisis" on.

Its all just first world stuff.

Did you get misdirected from the YouTube comments section?

she takes her glasses of to view things, strange

She might be long sighted so she wouldn't need them to see things far away. It's not strange.

What would your response be if your mother came to yo tomorrow and told you she was raped by a friend in college thirty two years ago? Or what if your daughter came to you and said she was raped in college years ago?

"Keep your mouth shut Mom, if you have not had an issue about your rape until now then you need to shut up about it"

"You cant be that traumatised Mom, it happened years ago and you said nothing all this time"

Seriously Daughter, chalk it down to experience and get on with your life"

"Thats if it really happened Mom, are you sure it happened, I dont really believe you"

You really should be off playing with Hannity and his fiends.

Grassley is f**ing this up royally. It's so jarring. You have Mitchell up there trying to take the inquisitorial edge off the questions, and Grassley is intermittently piping in, giving out, and generally coming across as someone with zero sensitivity for the clearly nervous Ford.

Sassy, she actually has taken a polygraph. Doubt she has the skill to queer that.

polygraphs are not recognized over this neck of the woods because they are inaccurate and can be faked

Do you think her knowledge and capability earned over 32 years disqualifies her expertise when it comes to herself?

i think its suspicious that she has such in depth expertise of trauma considering she is discussing her trauma

    Prosecutor is terrible.

We're any difficult questions asked yet

Do you find it odd that each person who you now say was present has stated that they have no idea what you are talking about?

Grassley being called out by other committee members and the Profs lawyer on what he refused to allow as evidence when he's now asking why he doesn't have the documemts.

I just told you she is a professor of Psychology. You think it is suspicious she knows about trauma? Do you know what psychology is?

I'm not really sure what to say to such kenM-style idiocy.

If Kavanaugh gets dropped after this, Grassley (and perhaps his cohorts Hatch and Graham) deserve as much as blame as Trump. They've botched this from start to finish. Grassley is a disaster.

She's a prosecutor of perpetrators not victims. This is being done arseways.

The prosecutor is focused on finding tiny holes or discrepancies on Ford's previous statements, such as saying she has claustrophobia due to the assault and doesn't like flying, and then pointing out all the times she has flown for work or holidays.

Well, it's the competency and honesty of her testimony, as against that of Judge Kavanaugh, that's at issue here and it's effect on the chance of putting him on the USSC bench where he can pass judgement on cases of people charged and found guilty of criminal offences when their cases reach the USSC for final decision on the legality of such judgements, along with natural and constitutional law cases.

Umm, Chris Coons [D] questioning is certainly relevant and deep.
