Quintana with a mechanical... Not like he'll do bugger all anyway

I know everything is done for them but you'd think a pro would be able to change a front wheel at least.

Thomas leading Froome up the second climb........no real doubt about who is going to be given the rein to go for it
Latour is absolutely emptying himself......he'll be lucky to finish!

Interesting that no one from Sky took any musettes (from their guy in the high-vis t-shirt)

I don't know what to make of their tactics. It seems Froome goes for it and Thomas sits on Dumoulin's wheel. If Dumoulin makes it back up to Froome then Thomas has his measure every time.

He needs to get to Quintana and Majka in the next few minutes so they can share some of the work otherwise he will run out of steam

A big one? "Marginal" comebacks are where it's at nowadays.

His gap of 15-20 seconds has held steady to those two lads for a good while. Closing it too quick could spell disaster too.

    Come on Dan!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,864 ✭✭✭griffin100

Dan looking good. Hopefully non of the top 3 will make an attack until the last couple of km, otherwise I fear Dan could be caught.

Froome at the rear of the main group... but that doesn't mean anything because it's Froome!
