Ah balls anyway. The guy has no luck.

Second bad hamstring injury in six months.

    Poor Ferg.

Wonder if it's linked to the first injury.

Very short on wingers. No Ferg for the foreseeable future and no Dave Kearney for the weekend at least, Barry Daly still hors de combat and Larmour presumably rested, Tomane and ROL will be needed for the centre.

At this rate, Adam Byrne might even get a shout...

Does Jack Kelly get a go?

There's a decent piece in the 42 about Toulouse doing their homework on Leinster's multi phase patterns and picking off trys because of that. The big challenge Leinster have now is trying to stay one step ahead of a chasing pack that has no doubt analysed their game down to the minutiae.

Nothing wrong with Byrne once they tell Tomane of ROL to keep an eye on his wing....or get the 15 a super charger to get over in time....

Team I'd go for against Treviso:

    1. Peter Dooley
    2. James Tracy
    3. Michael Bent
    4. Ross Molony
    5. Scott Fardy
    6. Josh Murphy
    7. Dan Leavy
    8. Max Deegan
    9. Jamison Gibson-Park
    10. Ross Byrne
    11. Rory O'Loughlin
    12. Tom Daly
    13. Jimmy O'Brien
    14. Joe Tomane
    15. Ciarán Frawley

    16. Bryan Byrne
    17. Edward Byrne
    18. Vakhtang Abdaladze
    19. Mick Kearney
    20. Caelan Doris
    21. Hugh O'Sullivan
    22. Noel Reid
    23. Adam Byrne

...but, depends, of course, on who's available or otherwise with Ireland selection

What 3 points? The entire conversation was in relation to whether they should have gone for the drop goal. Which absolutely no team would have deliberately done. There was no easy 3 points on offer.

The main thing for me was to drive the lineout and see what happens keep it tight.

The Treviso squad has been gutted for the November Internationals. Looks like they'll be sending out a B side for this weekends game.

Phew... hopefully our fringe boys deliver. Was extremely disappointed with them last season.

Italy have named their 23 to play against Ireland in Chicago. The article says that the squad depart for America this weekend.

Italy's 23 for the Ireland game next week. There are 11 Benneton players in the squad. They'll not be picked for Saturday.

12 and half of them from the front 5, we definitely should be able to take them on up front.

I'd be surprised if they take all the Italians out of that game, they could play Saturday and fly on Sunday.
Treviso are doing well in the league, I'm sure the club wouldn't be happy to "throw" a game against Leinster..

The Italian team is second string. Nothing to say they don't play some of them against us regardless alongside a number of first choice Italian internationals. Treviso could have a very strong side on the field.

Judging from media interviews SOB will start so could also see internationals available for Bennetton.

Still a serious amount of starters for them named in the Italian 23. I can't imagine them releasing the majority of them.

Sperandio, Morisi, Tebaldi, Pasquali, Bigi, Fuser, Quaglio are all in the starting 15.

Traore, Lazzaroni, Ruzza, McKinley on the bench.

Connacht have named a few of the internationals in their team for Ospreys.

It occurs that those likely to play in the US will be unavailable, but a lot of the first 15 guys could well travel.

Hard to see, considering the first XV guys have just played 2 weeks in a row

Best, Henderson, Addison, McCloskey, Jordi all named in Ulster's starting XV. Looks like we'll get a good few back.

If McCloskey and Addison are likely to play ANY game then it's likely to be the Italy game so I'm surprised to see them lining out.

Not sure what kind of speculation is justified at this point, just hope we can name a fairly strong side.

    Doubt it.

Their minutes are significantly less than a lot of our guys.

Safe to assume a loosehead, Porter, Toner, Leavy, Conan, Ruddock (?), McGrath and Byrne will all travel to Chicago next week so wont be involved.

That leaves the likes of other loosehead, Ryan, Cronin, Furlong, Sexton, Ringrose, Henshaw and Larmour available this weekend but they've all had a serious amount of minutes played back to back in recent weeks.

Unlikely we will see them I reckon

so if it's either a weakened team or a strong team it looks like the majority of players are available to play for their province this weekend, the only player probably wrapped in cotton wool is Sexton.

The lads not going to Chicago still need a rest.
