Didn't Leavy play senior cup at 8?

Anyone know a pub in Soho that might be showing the match later?

O’Neills should be showing it on one of the screens

Grand thanks I'll try that. Don't know the area at all really.

It’s a big one just off China town. Couple of floors so they’ll probably be showing football on some of the screens but they should have the rugby on a few too. If no luck, you could try Waxy O’Connors which is a few doors down

There’s a National Express direct bus from Heathrow to Bath, leaving at 14.20 and arriving 16.36, if all else fails.

So when the match is over?

Very overcast in Bath. It's gonna lash down.

They were handing out numbers, for when cars arrived back. The 4 lads who were number 1 in the queue were Leinster supporters, they got a 7 seater so we ended up jumping in with them. Should be down in plenty of time. Will get the train back, so on the plus side no driving for me. Leinster supporters are a good bunch.

Anywhere really. Bath's a pretty small town with lots of pubs. The Raven is a top spot. There'll be a decent amount of Leinster fans in The Apple Tree too.

They’ve never been an issue in any other stadium before, not even the Rec 3 years ago. Not have they ever been an issue at airports etc. Can’t help but be cynical about this one.

Predictions? Pitch is going to be swampy and Bath will be up for this. Playing the European champs and nobody thinks they'll win. I'd say Leinster win with no try bonus.

Wind has picked up and it's started raining. Free flowing running rugby this won't be.

The flags aren’t fire proof...give me strength.

I’m pretty sure that the jerseys on the backs of the players would go on fire if you held a match to them. Maybe they shouldn’t be allowed either?

    Lads it's bucketing down now.

Get ready for the bog wrestle

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,200 ✭✭✭troyzer

I wonder if those Bath flags are fire proof.

Not a great performance today but the extra week and a decent Aviva pitch I’d be fairly confident of a good 5 point win. Sexton a bit of a worry but Byrne is more than capable of doing the job.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,169 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

It's not often that Leinster lose the arm wrestle but that's what it looked like today. Bath were very good in the tight. Leinster were very inaccurate at the set piece. Think we left two tries out there. We looked good when we got quick phases, but Underhill and Louw were phenomenal in slowing down and outright stealing our ball. Lots of imorovements for next week.

We still won though so that's ok

It looks like Leinster Vs Toulouse at the RDS will determine the pool. In the meantime it would be nice if we could beat Bath next week with the try bonus.

Wasps doing us no favours here at all

We'll need five points next week and two more wins in January.

Who would have said at the start of the season it would be between us and Toulouse for the group. Weren't they playing challenge Cup last season or the one before?
