Porter was getting battered in the scrum during his England and Scotland appearances. He's brutal again today.

I'm starting to really worry about his scrummaging.

I've been saying it since he came on the scene. In pressure situations his scrummaging technique tends to buckle.

On another note what kind of defence was that from Daly and Kearney for their third try. A real disgrace

Games like this are good for Porter, all part of the rite of passage for a prop to get his arse handed to him. The thing is to learn and improve from it. Still only 23… Archer only peaked when he was nearly 30 into a competent scrummager

Why not get Abdeladze in there if he gets his handed to him. Good scrummager and carrier from what I've seen of him

Liam Toland's pronunciation Joe "Shmith" is somewhat irritating, up there with Quinlan's "Vunipolo"

Don't get me wrong. We have to persist with Porter. But he's not kicking on as much as I'd like.

    Offside is onside.

That's a poor call from referee on the turnover on Fardy. Tackler was standing about a metre offside at the ruck.

Referee constantly bollocking Zebre and telling them to speed up.

Did he leave the immersion on or something?

Leinster haven't really improved this half.

Nice try. Bonus point in the bag.

    Annoying.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,762 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

How does he spot that and not the Zebre offside!?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Hard luck. Great spot. You could see Zebre didn't want to know after Daly kicked that.

Hard luck Barry Daly, would have been a great score

That's the best Leinster tackle for a long time by O'Brien.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

JGP has not been at the races today. Passing is as poor as I've seen from him for some time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,762 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

So dumb from Zebre. They really are bad. Which doesn’t say much for how we’re doing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,762 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

And another dumb penalty. Another line out maul please.

I thought Byrne was going for the drop there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,268 ✭✭✭Thrashssacre

Not a bad attendance for this game all the same considering zebre really have nothing to play for and most fan we're probably expecting a hiding

JGP had enough of the lazy runners.

Fardy with the bonus point score.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,358 ✭✭✭✭salmocab

Fardy with the least effort of touching down I’ve ever seen

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,169 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Ross Byrne developing a dynamic carrying game is a rather unexpected development.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,200 ✭✭✭troyzer

Leinster getting away with one clothes line after another. Bizarre

Irrespective of the crap feed from the Italian broadcaster, its nice to actually get to see these games as some used to be twitter updates only.

Another assist for Jamison skip pass.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,169 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That was a fantastic cover tackle by JGP.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

JGP with a great covering tackle. Byrne came in off the man and left him alone.

I think in fairness to Byrne he seemed to get the call from JGP to go in.
