I'm not so sure but would be happy to be wrong.

The Kolpak ruling uses terminology about citizens of countries being affected, not whether you are Irish Qualified or not.

No, once JGP becomes Irish qualified, he is no longer subject to the rule. This is 100% established.

From getting a passport POV, Lowe probably has a few years to wait.

From a playing POV, once JGP becomes IQ this June, Lowe will be able to play along with Fardy as we will only have those 2 boys as NIQs from OZ/ NZ

Every time I've seen Patterson play he looks better than Hughie ....he looks electric, disappointed he's not getting the bench spot

Both have obvious flaws in their games at the moment which will be ironed out with development. I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from a player who has 200 minutes of senior game time being picked over a player that has 30.

Patterson obviously a better runner and has a good step and pace.

I have concerns over HOS size at the moment.

According to Leinster he has the exact same dimensions as JGP so my concerns are probably unfounded. Hugh just looks like he could do with a hot meal!!

I'm sure he will get leaner as he develops

Is anyone using ticket exchange this week? I'm trying to get two Anglesea terrace tickets for Friday - loads of tickets on there but I'm getting an "unavailable" error message since last night, have emailed ticketmaster and leinster, but no response.

I won't be able to make it and have 2 seated tickets, if you want to take them? Ya can have em for the cost of the terrace tickets. Block B in the anglesea.

Bit crap, so far. Bad feeling about it

    That's a red

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,300 ✭✭✭MaybeMaybe

    Has to be red, surely

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

What the hell is Owens on about? Contact with the shoulder???

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,611 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

That is one hundred percent a red card.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,379 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Hogg got a red for that against Wales a while back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,300 ✭✭✭MaybeMaybe

There's clear contact with the head first.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

    That's an insane call. 100 times in 100 that's a red card.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,768 ✭✭✭P.Walnuts

Can't believe Owens came to that conclusion

Minimal impact with the head, Owens trying to save face for giving the yellow too early.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Glad I'm not the only one watching that in disbelief. You can literally see his head whip around from the contact.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

    That's a red for me.

    Red all day long....

  • Registered Users Posts: 589 ✭✭✭baas baa

Conor O'Brien could soon be forcing Cullen into an uncomfortable decision.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

****e try to give away, but fair play to him for finishing that. Serious pace.

  • Registered Users Posts: 589 ✭✭✭baas baa

Cheetahs winger getting the Stockdale bounce.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Fardy gets revenge for the non red card. class lol.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

I'm no scrum guru but I'm amazed Leinster haven't been pinged yet, their front row stood up in the first two going backwards and they've collapsed that first put in IMO.

That's twice in a row ROL has been on the wing for a crossfield kick.
