That last pass looked forward or was it just the camera angle?

    Yep, I thought so too

    Ah here. Fardy...

It would be cool if Leinster could complete a single tackle.

    Ah Fardy what the hell?

We deserve to concede that for such idiocy from Fardy.

It was forward, and their previous movement out on that wing a couple of minutes earlier had a forward pass as well.

We’ve been fantastic under the high ball though in fairness.

Definitely. I don't know if it's the camera angle, but looks like Cardiff have got away with a forward pass to the wing several times.

Luke McGrath is going to send Fardy a strongly worded telegram about that, once both have retired and Luke is living on the Moon.

Cracking opening match of the season

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Ross Byrne really carrying that knock.

Will take that score after the opening spell.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,218 ✭✭✭A-Train

Not bad being only a point down with some headless things done by Leinster.

Luke McGrath is having a good game I feel. Tomane's has distributed well too. Will be a few months before we can tell what Felipe brings to attack though.

Lol, Nigel pulling Nick Williams up off the ground.

    Agree with all of this.

Ruddock is well and truly back as well. He's everywhere.

I know I shouldn’t quibble about sartorial matters but I really don’t like the away strip

    1) Brownest black ever
    2) Since when is black/brown remotely a Leinster colour? Add in the gold lettering and we have a 70s upholstery vibe going

Not a fan at all tbh

Tracy is having a good game too.

Lots to be positive about, but error count is off the charts. To be expected I guess.

You're colour blind my friend as the camo is dark green shades, as publicised. The training strip is black.

Adam Byrne looks like he's afraid of getting hurt.

Luke really needs to get himself a shirt that fits.

Luke and Donners made great use of the 2-for-1 in the summer sales

It's more of a brassy gold than brown. Like a trophy. I really like it.

I generally saw it, as he spends too much time thinking about what he should do when it comes to defending. And by the time he does something it's too late.

Tomane has been in four tackles so far and missed three of them according to ultimate Rugby including that fluffed tackle that led to the first try.

He was a liability against Newcastle as well. He needs to sort it out fast.

Dark green in shades of brown then. Maybe it looks different in the shop but yuck.

I’ve checked out the website and you are of course right the training strip is black and looks a whole better.

Hasn’t learned to assume a sitting position in front of the mirror to give it the all clear yet. Shirts always look fine when you’re standing up.

I wouldn't be too concerned yet. It takes a while for players to acclimatise to a new teams defensive system.

Lowe was abominable at the start until he got used to it.
