Let's be honest. Noel Reid would have been far more effective than Tomane tonight.

Tomane has had a proper mare. Looks very frustrated, hope things go better for him moving forward.

I'm amazed Tomane lasted that long without getting hooked

True, while his defending was like a turnstile, I didn't get the sense that it revolved with the same smoothness and grace as Reid.

Doesn't matter. 2 match points is a great result at this point!

Gerrin Bryan. A few more like him taking the game by the trollix and we'd be out of sight half an hour ago.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

In fairness, was it ever in doubt?

Out of jail in a massive way! Unreal match

Amazing. Big win and comeback given the performance itself was so poor.

    Never in doubt.

I would not care to be in that Cardiff dressing room.

Nah we were just pretending to be Ulster fans for a bit, we wanted to make it more entertaining.

Showed great resolve to come back and win. But lots of problems in defence to sort out.

It got to the point that I was shouting at poor Dave for Ferg ****ing up. Ya we're right earlier about Dave covering for others mistakes. Ridiculous stuff for the first game of the season. Delighted.

I think there's only one word that can be used to describe Tomane.

    Poison.

Still think we can win here if we cut out the errors

If I was a betting man I'd be rich :pac:

Perfect win. Had to work our arses off for it and showed loads of guts.

Felt we were going to turn it on at some stage. Pack grew into it, backs did well and some individual errors contributed most to our more leaky scores.

Tomane really struggled but will improve, Kearney was excellent, Adam Byrne showed up well, Ruddock was monstrous and my MOTM.

Delighted with that, perfect way to start the season.

Absolute robbery, bonus point win in a game we should have lost.
