Kicking out on the full from the base of a scrum. Ball comically going through his legs at an attacking ruck and him not copping at all. Failing to pick up the ball at a ruck on his line.

I mean, I like him alright. But his errors could have been much much costlier.

Thought that was a deliberate knock on by scarlets?

Referee had to give that but I'd like to see the Toner one again. Not sure there was anyone there to define the offside line aside from carrier. Healy had driven the one ruck player out of it completely from what I saw.

I'd like to see that Ruck again, thought a Scarlet's player sent that ball on it's way.

Toner a bit hard done by but should have been listening to the Ref.

    Was defo knock on red.

Ref been annoyingly decisive for Leinster decisions but not so much the other way. Frustrating.

Don't think 7 is Ruddock's best position but he currently IS the Leinster back row - he's everywhere. The Leinster 6 is pretty anonymous in comparison. My MOTM for Leinster so far anyway.

Dunno if you guys have the same commentary, but Warburton is a breath of fresh air: easy to listen to voice, calm and reasoned, unbiased, decent enough analysis. Quite impressed I must say.
I don't think that anyone who has heard his post match interviews can be surprised. Great understanding of the game and extremely articulate and honest.

Great work from Conan off the base there in defence.

He’s a one man gang in the backrow so far.

JPG having a mare so far. Head needs wobbling at HT.

Missed it by a yard, not ideal, but not criminal

Looked to me at the time there were Scarlet hands that pushed at it, no replay so can't be definite.[/B][/I]
Failing to pick up the ball at a ruck on his line.

Leinster had an advantage, down to 14, slowing it down there and wasting time, he didn't seem to rushed or bothered when he spilled it so wondered myself was he just milking it

Don't think he's been that bad, game changer last week when they needed it.

    That's a knock on.

I think we lost that forward?

Touch judge was practically touching the ball, should be making the call here.

JGP is having a total mare. McGrath will be having an easy sleep tonight.

He's a top class player. On form (and more importantly when fit) the best Ireland has in the back-row.

Thats a pen try then surely

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

This is the height of bottling a penalty try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

I'd go penalty try there, red clealy dropped it heading towards the line.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

If it's not a try he's going to the bin? Should go anyway!!

This ref seems a bit all over the place.

Why is it not a penalty try?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,169 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

If it's a sinbinning for taking down the maul is it not a pen try?

It's the weird applications by various refs that bother me. Nearly sure we got done for a penalty try and card for a collapse (want to say Healy?) against Oz in the summer.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Scarlets scrum half completely illegal too to stop Cronin from scoring.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,169 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Need the try here now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,562 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Scarlets 9 in the side prevented that. Should be 2nd YC and pen try

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

I'm happier for this not to be awarded as I think the referee wasn't going to give yellow if it was a try. Hopefully now a try and a yellow which should have been the case.

No way Davies joins that maul correctly. How was it not spotted.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,105 ✭✭✭✭Interested Observer

    Is this ref dishonest?

Agreed with comments about Warburton, I was wondering who it is and he's an excellent commentator.

I don't see how that can be a yellow and not a penalty try, the maul coming down made the grounding harder and if he spilled because the maul as coming down it should be a penalty try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,169 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    That needed to go wide.

    Munster levels of obliviousness.

Conan should have a go here.
